A rare antique knitting pin/ needle case from Matthew Rose & Sons, Hackney', London. It contains a selection of knitting pins/ needles and sewing needles. The knitting pins/ needles are sizes 12, 14, 16 and 18.
Brooch "knitting" 8 CM Long, made in Indonesia between 1942-1945 Wooden Toothpicks and cotton produced brooch depicting a knitting in the colors red, White, blue with an orange ball if breiknotje. On the back is a pin confirmed. Such brooches with veiled references to the Netherlands and the orange house were many made as a sign of resistance in the quiet vrouwenkampen.
