Eugene Gordon Lee was an American child actor, most notable for appearing in the Our Gang comedies as Porky from 1935 to 1939. During his tenure in Our Gang, Porky originated the catchphrase "O-tay", though it is commonly attributed to Buckwheat. After leaving the series, Lee retired from motion pictures, and entered public school
Jackie Coogan, famous for Charles Chaplin's film 'The Kid', began his movie career as a child actor in silent films. Many years later, he became known as Uncle Fester on 1960s sitcom 'The Addams Family'. In the interim, he sued his mother and stepfather over his squandered film earnings and provoked California to enact the first known legal protection for the earnings of child performers, billed as the Coogan Act.
