I believe that if a man sees and respects my strength, values my opinion, and bases his decisions in his faith, that I can feel comfortable allowing him to lead. If he loves and truly respects me then I’m not worried that he would want to dominate me. The right man would want what’s best for both of us. I couldn’t love a man I didn’t completely trust to make wise decisions. There’s an aspect of relief in being able to lay your burdens down and allowing the man you trust to take the watch.
