I apologize for how late this post is! We received our April Saint Mail and were eager to jump in, but April was a pretty busy month! Did you know that St Isidore had a sister and two brothers who were all declared saints! Wow! Four saints in one family! Three bishops and a nun! The Saint Mail letter from St Isidore talks about how even though he and his siblings were pretty holy, they had their troubles, just like the rest of us. He talks about the lessons he learned from a slow and steady drip of water on a rock he saw…and how he applied these lessons to his life. Saint Mail even includes a craft/science experiment to show us this lesson as well! St Isidore of Seville was later declared a Doctor of the Church…and the patron saint of the internet and computers. St Isidore was the Saint Mail Saint of the Month for April. The package included all kinds of great information and activity instructions including a coloring page of the Stations of the Cross for Lent! Our Holy Medal and Saint Magnet Collections are certainly growing, thanks to Saint Mail! Saint Mail: May Edition will be posted surprisingly soon….later today! I’m trying to catch up before the June Saint Mail arrives! Easy Sharing Buttons:
