Favorite spring cake hack! | Favorite spring cake hack! this spring poke cake is so good y'all! | By Kristin's Friends | Alright, y'all. This is so exciting. Y'all are going to love this delicious fun treat. One box of white cake mix. Uh we're using milk instead of water. We're using butter instead of oil and then some timer's going off but that's fine then we're using some fresh eggs for my chickens alright we got three eggs y'all I'm getting so many eggs right now like at least six a day it's kind of crazy so yeah that's it everyone's everyone everyone I know is like getting eggs for me okay so now this is the fun part we're going to mixy mixy this cake mix so y'all that's actually a real good hack just so you know to make any box cake mix better use milk instead of water butter instead of oil and you can also add extra egg which I could've done but I forgot. So, it's fun. It's going to be great. Alright. Mixy, mixy, mixy. Use all your strength and also y'all it's going to taste real good because I'm wearing my bunny glasses. My fun spring bunny glasses. Um that's it. They're not as good as my heart glasses. I'm going to say that in every video. Bridge is proud of y'all. Are you tired of hearing that? I don't know why y'all just love the heart glasses. They're my favorite. Okay. So now y'all once this is mixed, this is what we going to do. This is going to be real fun. Y'all are going to love this so much. Alright, I'm moving that aside. We have four bowls. These little pretty bowls. So now, we're going to do is we're going to take a measuring cup thing and we're going to split this cake mix into four equalish parts, alright? And actually, I'm going to do this because that is too wide of an angle to film. We add some food coloring to this, okay? So, first, in this, in this one, we're doing some pastel green, okay? In the next one, we're doing some pink. Alright, y'all. So, me and you just gotta work out mixing all these but now we have our four colors. Y'all can use whatever kind of colors you want, alright? So now, we're going to bring in nine by 13. I greased it and it's going to be so fun. Alright. So, this is what we're going to do y'all. We're going to start with one color. So, you know, I'm going to start with this this teal blue because I think it's so pretty. So, I'm going to put like two scoops of this just like wherever I feel like, okay? Cuz that that's that's how it's done. Wherever I feel like. That's what we do. Alright. Now, I'm going to take the yellow. I like the yellow. It's pretty. They're all pretty though, okay? I'm going to put yellow right here. Do two scoops of yellow too. Why not? Alright. There we go. Yellow yellow. Alright. Next, let's see. You know, we're going to do pink. We're going to do the pink cup with the pink. This is real thick. Wow. You know what? It's real thick from the butter and the eggs. The fresh eggs. I use fresh eggs in these. I already forgot. I think so. Okay, good. Alright. Alright, y'all. Pink. Now, we're going to take the green. We're just going to put it like right there, alright? Grab and we're going to do another green right here. Uh right there. Okay. Alright. Y'all are having so much fun. I'm having fun too. You want to know why I'm having fun? So, I'm wearing bunny glasses. Yup and they match Bridge's nails. I just every time I look at her, she's holding the the camera and her nails are so pretty. Okay. Anyways, I I want my nails like that, Bridget. I'm going to copy you. Alright. I guess we're only going to have two blobs of pink but that's okay. They're big so it's fun. Alright, y'all. So, we're going to put this in the oven. Actually, before we do that, hold on. I got I gotta show you one more thing. Um we're going to give this a little shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake. Shake, shake, shake so it flattens out and I'm going to put this in the oven at 350 for about, what is it? About 28 minutes or so and I'm going to show you all the next step. I'm so excited. That's all y'all. Alright, y'all. So, here we have our multi-colorful Easter cake. I promise once we get inside it, it's going to be beautiful and colorful or spring. It don't have to be Easter. Alright, so now we're going to do y'all. We poke in some holes, okay? Lots of holes. Holes, holes, holes, holes. Y'all can use whatever kind of tool you want to poke holes. I'm using this this dumb spatula. I hate this thing but I guess it's a good whole poker for poke cakes, alright? So, I guess that that's what that's what it's good for. It came in a little set. I think on Amazon, I don't know. I'll I'll show you all the link, okay? So, poke some holes. There we go. Now, we have two cups of cold milk and then we have one package of vanilla instant pudding, alright? I'm putting that in there and I also forgot I'm going to add one more thing if I can find it fast. Alright, I also have some orange extract. So y'all in spring time. I like fruit flavors. So, we add about a teaspoon of about a teaspoon to that, alright? So, we gotta give this pudding a little mixy mixy. Alright, y'all. Once that's mixed pretty good, we're going to pour it on this cake before it gets too thick. So, vanilla instant pudding with some orange extract. So, now we're just going to pour this on top of our poke cake and try and aim it in the little holes, okay? Try and get it in the holes. Try your best. Try your best. Look, pour it in all the holes. Yay. Alright, y'all. It's going to be so good. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Because I love spring time. I love things that are pretty. This is pretty and it's spring and that's it. Alright y'all. So I'm actually going to take a little spatula and spatulas. There we go. I'm going to move it around. I'm just going to move it around and try and get it in the holes. Okay y'all. So we're going to put this in the fridge for about an hour and then I'm going to show y'all the last step. This little booby biscuit. You're just so beautiful aren't you? You're the most beautiful little cat ever. You're so cute. I know he's over me today. He doesn't want to be in any movies today y'all. He's so cute though. I can't help it. I just want to keep holding him forever and ever and ever. I love you baby. Alright. Let me put you down because I'm holding you weird. Here, have some treats. I have some cool whip or I have the whatever it's called whipped topping but it's just like the cheap cheap kind of cool whip. So, we're going to put this on top. Alright, Kevin's wait standing by. He's waiting for another treat. I'm going to be like, baby, you want to come back up here? You can have one. Come on up here, Kevin. Come on up. Alright. It's it's basically like a regular cake but we put the food coloring in because it's fun, right? It's fun. Oh, I need this. Fun. That's my middle name.
