The Car Poolers in Mexico is a project by photographer Alejandro Cartagena that takes a peek into the world of flatbed trucks that carry Mexican workers to their jobs.
Alejandro Cartagena waited patiently along the highways that bisect the economic classes of Mexico. The series "Car Poolers" reflects on a culture chasing dreams of prosperity and progress in the back of pickup trucks.
From his morning-time perch above the southbound lanes of Highway 85 in Monterrey, Mexico, photographer Alejandro Cartagena catches images of people on their way to work.
