The "Red-legged Honeycreeper" is a small songbird species in the tanager family. It is found in the tropical New World from southern Mexico south to Peru, Bolivia and central Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago, and on Cuba, where possibly introduced.
Blue-faced Parrotfinch (Erythrura trichroa) is a locally common species of estrildid finch found in north-eastern Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and Federated States of Micronesia. It has been introduced to France.
The Chestnut Mannikin - Lonchura castaneothorax, is found across northern and eastern coastal Australia, from the Kimberley region, Northern Territory, to the Shoalhaven River and New South Wales. It is also found in New Guinea. Photo by David Taylor.
