Rudolf Baschant Austrian, b. Salzburg Baschant was a printmaker who studied in Essen, Frankfurt, Weimar, and Leipzig. He became a student of Walter Gropius and later taught with him at the Bauhaus. In 1923 he designed posters for the Bauhaus
