"The Mosaic Egg" by Alma Pihl from Faberge House was the last egg before WW I began. The egg was created for Nikolay II as a traditional Easter present for his wife and Russian Empress Alexander Feodorovna in 1914. The surprise inside the egg presents a pink and white cameo with contours of children of Nikolay II and Alexandra Feodorovna. Today the egg is owned by Elizabeth II, Her Majesty The Queen of the UK and the other Commonwealth realms.
