Barbara Smith. Paget, Bermuda. I enlisted the help of my son, Anthony to build the library, my son, Tim to make a sign and my daughter-in-law, Michele to use her imagination with the artwork. It has only been up for a week and people have stopped to see what this little box is about. I am happy to say, the word is out and people are taking books and I have found many are leaving more than they have taken so the library is overflowing!
Orval Choate. Nevada City, CA. We have made the Little Victorian Library the same colors as the summer home of Ulysses and Julia Grant. Their home, called White Haven, is located on their farm near St Louis. When the Grants lived there in the mid-1850s, these particular shades of green were popular choices at the time.
Christal Carden. Spring, TX. The GLF HOA approved of the project and has been very supportive throughout the entire process. James Magamoll with Brightstar Services designed, built and installed the library. Samantha Zaziski and Aisha Khan are the library stewards that check in on the library and make sure it's tidy and in good repair. Everyone is enjoying all of the books and the community spirit around our lil' library! :)
