This pillar was found at the edge of the water by Ron Wyatt in 1978 at Nuweiba Beach in Egypt.  It has since been moved to the location that you see in the picture above.  It is now about 500 feet from the edge of the water.  It is believed that King Solomon had it erected to commemorate the Red Sea Crossing point.
