A stairway of white oak, oiled to impart a matte finish, leads into the apartment. The residents left the design decisions up to K-Studio, only requesting that the house have a "contemporary and calm" feeling.

Poplar Garden House by architect Haiko Meijer of Onix. The Poplar Garden House is a gable-roofed structure, however it has a much more modern aesthetic than most. It is named for the uniformly wide poplar boards that cover it inside and out.
