Shurale (Şüräle) is a male forest demon found in Bashkir and Tatar mythology. He lives in forests, has long fingers, a horn on its forehead, and a woolly body. He silently waits behind the trees for his victims, and when a human is unlucky enough to have lost their way in the middle of the black forest, he catches them and tickles them to death.
