Jason Ratliff cardboard + white paint. The use of recycled cardboard in itself makes this piece interesting. But the blending of the figures beard and hair into the background makes it really stand out. I particularly like the bottom most image of the figure screaming and the artists interesting choices of omitting various pieces of the figure's head.

Jason Ratliff- Ratliff used cardboard and white paint as opposed to more obvious medias and it really made his portraits stand out. perhaps i need to be more experimental with media choices.
