Looking at the big lanterns here, think they look cool especially alongside the draping- look easy and flatpack, and imagine with some nice indiany fabric

Inspiration for a crazy festival wedding! Big fabric drapes and beautiful lanterns!

LOVE this stage scenery. Rolled cardboard and paper trees could recreate something like this.and then some pine trees, snow on the bridge and lots of ribbons, lanterns and poinsettias could turn it into a Christmas setting

The Old Man and The Old Moon

"The Old Man and the Old Moon" set. Patricia said she loved the style of this for the play. It might be a little too rustic for a NYC apartment but I get the 'storytelling' style of it. It would work well in our black box theater.

Into the Woods. Theatre du Chatelet, Paris. Set design by Alex Eales. Dominent design element is line, especially the contrast of the vertical lines created by the trees agains the large circular image created by the "moon clock" up center. This is a powerful composition, elevating the witch above the principle players and suspending the clock behind her.
