I would've never thought of it, glad someone did. Fall pillows made from inexpensive placemats from Walmart. Rip seam open a little, stuff them, and sew up edge. Not sure I'd make fall leaf pillows, but this same idea could work on other placemat shapes.
Making plastic pumpkins look more real: Use Burnt Umber paint. Water the paint down just a little, and brush onto your pumpkin. Then take a damp rag or paper towel and gently wipe up and down your pumpkin.

Leaves dipped in wax to preserve color. I would like this hanging over my kitchen window this fall. -- beautiful idea for a mobile or general hanging decoration, would be better with resin than wax IMO
