Rebecca is one of my all-time favorite books by Daphne Du Maurier. Hitchcock's version of the book is very near exact and his recreation of the elusive Rebecca's private bedroom has always fascinated me. If I had insane wealth I would likely try to recreate the estate known as Manderley with fireplaces big enough to stand in and THIS would be MY room!
