Jim Hall's 2E at the Stardust GP, Las Vegas, 1966. After their dominating display at Laguna Seca, bad luck would return at Stardust, with both cars suffering wing linkage failures, and Hill colliding with Jones' Lola. Hill began the race tied for the series championship. But accident damage and the wing issue would relegate Hill to a 7th place finish. Surtees would win the race and the title. Dave Friedman photo.
