1944 detachable square gold watch is suspended by a snakechain from a bow pin of gold set with topaz and small rubies and diamonds. Graceful bow earrings are of gold-plated silver, set with colored stones and rhinestones.

Ziegfeld Girls / Myrna Darby,,,Darby died at the tender age of 21, allegedly from a broken heart after her engagement to a fur baron had been called off. Another theory implied a sunstroke-induced heart infection, having received a severe sunburn while touring Europe. Ziegfeld and the Follies girls attended the funeral and “the whole chorus wept until all makeup was washed away”.
