Bamboo Grove / Kanagawa, Japan Just planted this giant timber bamboo for an instant privacy screen. Better plant in container or they can spread out of control.

Silk Floss Tree (chorisia speciosa) deciduous tree native to both the tropical and sub-tropical forests of South America

The silk floss tree (Ceiba speciosa or in Argentia called the "Palo Borracho") is a species of deciduous tree native to the north-east of Argentina, east of Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and southern Brazil. It is resistant to drought and moderate cold.

Ceiba tree. Commenter added: "Common name is Kapok, native to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, northern South America, and to tropical west Africa"

A thorny issue. Ceiba tree - "Common name is Kapok, native to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, northern South America, and to tropical west Africa"

tree twining~~"They are beautiful in their peace; they are wise in their silence. They will stand after we are dust. They teach us, and we tend them." -- Galeain ip - Altiem MacDunelmor

We have these in Australia too. It's a 'Strangler Fig', that envelopes an existing tree. Eventually, is impossible for the tree to survive and it dies. The original tree will rot completely away and the Strangler Fig is left as a lattice work hollow tube.
