Arrayán, Luma Apiculata, Myrceugenella chequen - Perenne, emparentado con el genero Myrtus. Florece desde mediados del verano, flores blancas; Arbol originario del sur de Chile y Argentina, muy ramificado y de corteza marron y blanco. Hacia el centro de Chile se dá mas arbustivo. Suelo humedo y bien drenado, sol o semisombra. Se puede podar y mantener como seto.
