This experiment allows you to virtually change the conditions of the environment to discover which type the critter prefers. Would be great for teaching about adaptations, limiting factors, or evolution.

Virtual lab on critter behavior. Students design and set up an experiment to figure out what environment is best for the critters.

Selfie Flashcards on Cell Organelles, Prokaryotes, Eukaryotes, and Viruses. Have students color the camera images and use the flashcards to practice the cell unit.

Cells: Structure and Function - Life Science Interactive Notebook

AP Biology cell organelle project. Students got a length of contact paper to encase printed-out black/white and labeled organelles. Their focus organelle had to be in color. The cell membrane had to have head/tails with embedded proteins. They also had to bring in an object from home to represent/explain their focus organelle. The contact paper is the cytoplasm.

Students made a cell using contact paper as cytoplasm. The contact paper encased organelles printed out. Their focus organelle is in color.

This States of Matter unit includes 18 picture cards - 6 solid pictures, 6 liquid pictures and 6 gas pictures. The same cards are included with and without labels. The pictures used are real-life pictures. I use these cards during our physical science unit, "States of Matter." These cards are perfect for your science center and includes several recording sheets!

Cell Model - Printable Pattern For A 3-D Free-Standing Paper Cell Model (grades 5-9). This is a printable template for a model plant or animal cell that students cut out and construct from regular copy paper. The completed model is a free-standing 3" x 3" cell with all the cell organelles inside like a tiny diorama!

Cell Model - Printable Pattern For A 3-D Free-Standing Paper Cell Model

A one-of-a-kind cell model for secondary students to construct from regular copy paper. Strong enough to hold up a textbook! A great alternative to gelatin cell models. Printable pattern and photo illustrated instructions included.
