La Statue de Danton, by Auguste Paris was erected in front of Odéon Paris, in 1889 for the centennial celebration of the French revolution.

Vintage image of a statue of Camille Desmoulins that no longer exists in Paris (it was destroyed in 1942). It commemorated his role in inciting the mob that later stormed the Bastille prison.
