hmmm...definitely felt like I was reading a teen romance. I would have probably been completely obsessed as a teenager with this series.

I bought theses books for my daughter. I read the entire series and she hasn't read any of them :(

memoirs of a geisha by Arthur Golden

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. This book chronicles the fascinating life of Chiyo, who is sold to a geisha house, where she later becomes the star geisha, Sayuri. Excellent read and although not as good the movie was well worth seeing

Mortal Instrument: City of Bones Awesome book

The Mortal Instruments series. City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, & (the newest installment I can't wait to read) City of Fallen Angels.

"A heart-pounding debut. Stevens pulls out all the stops in this cat-and-mouse battle between a brilliant psychopath and his tenacious victim. By equal turns clever and compelling, STILL MISSING is the not-to-be missed thriller of the year."

'Still Missing' by Chevy Stevens ---- On the day she was abducted, Annie O'Sullivan, a thirty-two-year-old realtor, had three goals--sell a house, forget about a recent arg.

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. A thousand times better than the movie., it's a page turner

Water for Elephants

The most popular book club books of the past decade, including Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.

City of Bones Mortal Instruments

City of Bones Mortal Instruments

Suddenly able to see demons and the Darkhunters who are dedicated to returning them to their own dimension, fifteen-year-old Clary Fray is drawn into this bizarre world when her mother disappears and Clary herself is almost killed by a monster.

Final book. She killed off more people than I would have liked but it was still a great read.

Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins. The third and final book of the Hunger Games series. I liked books 1 and 2 much better, but Mockingjay tied things up nicely.
