Ron and I both like the futuristic cop, Eve Dallas.  Predictable, yes.  But, it's recreational reading.

the complete In Death series by Nora Roberts writing under the name JD Robb are worth reading. They are better read in order.

I read this over Christmas and can't wait for the next one in the series. It is an end of the world type book that reminded me of Stephen King's "The Stand".

Much better than the movie.  I know it's a bit outdated, but still a great book if you haven't read it.  Many interesting things to research throughout.

Angels and Demons is my favorite Dan Brown book. Also have read, The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol. I feel that Dan Brown is an author who you just have to experience at some point along your reading journey.

Shadow on the Crown by Patricia Bracewell. An incredibly written historical fiction novel about Emma of Normandy & the in a trilogy. One of the most well written books I have ever read.
