Leonora Carrington OBE (6 April 1917 – 25 May 2011), was a British-born–Mexican artist, surrealist painter, and novelist. She lived most of her adult life in Mexico City, and was one of the last surviving participants in the Surrealist movement of the 1930s. She and Max Ernst were a couple living in turbulent times, they were separated during the war.                                                         && Don’t forget our Facebook !!

Leonora Carrington - a great surrealist, who lived in Mexico, and with Remedios Varo, and Kati Horna were known as the Three Witches. They were all part of a surrealist enclave in Mexico, that drew artists and political leaders from Europe.
