Harbour Lights Crooked River, FL Lighthouse Before the Civil War, river commerce for cotton was essential to the South and lighthouses were needed to aid maritime traffic. Several brick beacons had been built in the Crooked River area of Florida's panhandle, but all had been flattened by hurricanes. Finally in 1895, a 103-foot tall skeletal iron tower was erected and still stands today at the mouth of the Carrabelle River. Limited to Only 1,200 pieces.
Harbour Lights Key Largo, FL Lighthouse Key Largo Lighthouse, with its decorative checkerboard pattern, was built in 1959 by a local property owner who learned of an authentic lantern room being sold by an Ocala, Florida junk dealer. He bought the lantern, shipped it to Key Largo and installed it on top of a concrete base and tower. Research shows that the lantern was rescued from Rebecca Shoal Lighthouse, which was dismantled in 1953. Limited to Only 1,200 pieces.
Carrabelle is a small town of around people located in Northwest Florida. This historic fishing village is most famous for having the "World's Smallest Police Station" (located within a single phonebooth) for many years.
