Qui est donc cet homme à l'air heureux ? Une inscription derrière la statue nous donne la réponse. Il s'agit d'un scribe et pr�être qui porte le nom de Dudu. Il exerçait son métier au temps d'Entéména, prince de la ville de Lagash. Il vécut au milieu du IIIe millénaire avant J.-C.
