“The Amazing Reading Race ” Students begin their reading passports by filling out information about themselves and gluing (or drawing) a picture of themselves on the front of their reading passports. After students have read a book, they should find that genre/continent in their reading passports and write a summary about the book.
Free back-to-school reading incentive program incorporating Reading Counts or Accelerated Reader. Easily differentiated based on texts used. Students will be motivated to read and pass quizzes, providing them with that all-important practice. Using a bulletin board, students get to recognize themselves for each quiz passed.
