Templetonia retusa (Cockies tongue) is a shrub that is endemic to Australia. It grows to about two metres tall (sometimes as much as four metres) It produces bright orange red pea flowers in late autumn, winter and spring, although flowering period varies according to geographic area. Templetonia retusa is found in southern South Australia, and round the southern and west coast of Western Australia to about Shark Bay

Gastrolobium grandiflorum, commonly known as Wallflower Poison, Wallflower Poison Bush or Heart-leaf Poison Bush, is a bushy shrub which is endemic to Australia. It is the most widespread within the genus, occurring across a large area of Queensland, as well as in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and South Australia.

Lupinus consentinii Distribution: Occurs from Geraldton to the extreme south west of Western Australia. A herb to 1.4 metres tall. The blue flowers are produced from August to November. This is a commonly cultivated plant. It is native to the Mediterranean Region. Update 2014: given seeds, and they are thriving some have just started to flower.
