The Medium is the Message by Thomas Wightman. Book theme is OCD - I wanted to create a voice for sufferers & their emotions. When book is opened, it reveals the chaotic emotions. Panic attacks were conveyed by creating a sinking ship in a vortex drowning from the obsession. Panic attack symptoms include loss of breath, like drowning in water. Anchor & typographic rope were added showing that the ship can be saved, just as those who suffer from OCD when receiving proper treatment.
