Man is being prepared to enter the higher levels. Therefore no lower emotional issues can remain to hold you back. I have said many times the clearing of the emotional body is man’s greatest lesson. Many are now travelling this path. ::: Kuthumi :::

Dot - Dot - Dot - Dot - Dot

This week the challenge that Laura put forward is Pointillism. I confess that I have never tried this style of drawing before, or at least, not that I can remember. I guess maybe I have as the tangle pattern Rain Dotty is pointillism. However, I have not tried to create a whole piece of art using just this style. I really focused on the method here. Trying to play with the dots to show more depth in some areas while little in others. I ended up doing two for this week. First I used an older…

Weekly Challenge # 140

Wow, what a blast from the past I had with this challenge when I read it this morning. I haven’t done anything like that since, dare I say it, college. I took a trip down memory lane thinking about using the rapidograph pens for projects like this. The kind of pen that you had to keep perfectly upright for them to work, the kind that seemed, on the smaller sizes to clog up all the time, and were a pain to clean! Now to start the challenge for the week… For those who know me, most know that I…

Diva Challenge 140

This week's challenge was to do a tile with nothing but pointillism (using only tiny dots). This has never been a favorite technique of mine, but I have to admit that by the time I finished this tile, I can see where this effect could be perfect for certain things. I normally only do one piece for the challenges each week, but I may try another for this one since I finished early in the week for a change.

Challenge #140 (Dots, Docks, and Dumbbells)

Well hello there! This week I learned about PATIENCE. This week's challenge from iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com had to do with dots...and lots of them! This technique, known as "pointillism" is essentially a picture entirely comprised of tiny dots and nothing else. I added shading to mine, but primarily had to focus and take the time to "jot it out." I am not sure where the arrows came from, but I like the organic feel of this monotangle (sort of). I think the chaos of the arrows mixed with…
