This writing project will allow ESL students to practice their vocabulary about animals in terms of habitat, body parts, and adjectives. They will also have to use the simple present tense of three verbs (to be, to have and to live) to describe their animal and to use the personal pronoun iT.
It's an Esl game based on the original game 'YUM'. It was created for cycle 1 and 2 students. Students practice either vegetables or fruit vocabulary. The game includes: a rule sheet, game cards, dice templates and language cards. It's all in colour except for the language cards.

These flashcards represent 12 following feelings: angry, sad, worried, happy, shy, content, confused, excited, embarrassed, proud, scared, and shocked. Their size is 8 1\2X11, but they can be reduced with ''multiple'' copies before you print. Thanks!Miss Alexandra
After Reading or Viewing Activity:It includes animal vocabulary words and images (cartoons) from the book or from the video. It's a simple activity for ESL kindergarten students or grade 1 students. They have to recognize the animal's name and match it with its appropriate image; a simple but efficient 'Cut and Paste' activity. The last page (teacher's page) has to be cut into three sections for less waste of paper.Enjoy!Alexandra Lehoux
