A simple way to hide the TV! My husband thinks using an old map as artwork is tacky though. Maybe if I blew up a nice print or family photo as an engineer print and mod podged it onto a roll-away screen? I also like how she hid her DVR behind the metal bucket and picture frame.

We like how the shelves are connected to the mantle. I think we would like a lighter colored wall with darker wood shelving. The hidden TV is nice but I think we prefer a single sliding panel. Large brick chimney feels too imposing.
