Udny Castle (and twa coos) engraved by Le Keux
Udny Castle is just south of Pitmedden and SSW of Ellon in Aberdeenshire. It is now a delightful unspoilt oblong keep, although that has not always been the case. A huge 19th century mansion was built onto it, although fortunately this has now been demolished. The castle is not easy to get a look at, as it sits in its own estate behind high walls.
