USS Enterprise (CV-6)

USS Enterprise  was launched in 1936,  and one of only three American carriers commissioned prior to World War II to survive the war (the others being Saratoga and Ranger). She participated in more major actions of the war against Japan than did any other US ship. She earned 20 battle stars, the most for any U.S. warship in World War II.

The United States World War II fleet aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV the most decorated ship in United States naval history. I know it's not a plane but it is the "Enterprise" so it falls under the "etc" in the board name.

USS Enterprise (CV-6), was the seventh U.S. Navy vessel to bear the name. Colloquially referred to as the "Big E", she was the sixth aircraft carrier of the United States Navy.

The USS Enterprise was stationed in the Pacific during after her sister ships were destroyed, Enterprise was the only carrier in the Pacific for a time. She was crucial to defending the Pacific, but unfortunately, she was later made into scrap.
