Merry Winter Solstice to my Pagan friends (I know there's a few of you out there )

Can we just replace Christmas with celebrating the winter solstice. I always look forward to welcoming back the longer days. Sunshine is is a way better gift than you could ever buy me. Solstice, straight to New years, that's how I roll

Yule : Mistletoe, for what it's worth, is a good plant (e.g. a good food source for birds) but it gets invasive on the trees on which it's a parasite. So keeping it trimmed out is *good for the trees* and good for you getting kisses at Yuletide.

Winter Solstice (Dec Each day after the Winter Solstice becomes longer until the Summer Solstice, when each day becomes shorter and shorter, until the Winter Solstice (shortest day of the year).
