This is my favourite French film. Such a great play to adapt, & they did it so well. The performances, the cinematography, the costumes, the sets...all amazing. So great.

Gerard Depardieu in Cyrano De Bergerac. Every time I watch this movie I think two things, the first is that no one could ever play Cyrano besides Depardieu and second, I wish I was him.

Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. This is one of my absolute favorites! The romance, the bravado, the adventure, the tragedy and - of course - the panache of Cyrano is sure to thrill readers over and over again as it has for decades!

I have only to touch the pensive pages and I forget everything else in this world as reading is to feel utterly transported.

What do you have me do...? Cyrano de Bergerac. This is one of my favorite of his many long speeches in the play - probably because of the importance it places on valuing yourself and your work.
