Ivory casket, Fatimid Sicily or Southern Italy, 11th-12th Centuries Rear A rectangular casket, with a desk-like lid, made of individual pieces of ivory that have been joined together. The lid is attached by two silver clasps/hinges, which were made at a later date, and the padlock has been lost. Arqueta de la hija de Abd al-Rahman III Esta pequeña caja tiene forma rectangular y se cubre con una tapa con bisagras. En el borde de la tapa se halla una inscripción en la que se hace referencia a la destinataria de la caja, la "Noble Hija" de Abd al-Rahman III. El resto de la arqueta se decora con elementos vegetales. La técnica del tallado la vincula con el taller de Madinat al-Zahra.
