A novel trimethylstearylammonium bromide (TSAB) coated Fe3O4/SiO2 magnetic nanocomposite was fabricated and used as the adsorbent for the magnetic solid-phase extraction of adriamycin hydrochloride (ADR) in human plasma and urine with high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD).
