One more from last night’s chawan adventures. Today is a day in, resting and staying away from the rain and the cold. A duvet day. . . . __________________________________________________________ Getting my head round making chawan for matcha. Any Japanese friends - please don’t judge me. This was wheelthrown, then altered on the wheel while drying. The clay is still wet, so it needs to dry for a few days, then fire. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I think I’ll be making more…
