The Rudis family, whose teenage daughter was too afraid to sleep alone in her bedroom, lived in a house so disturbing that it even spooked the crew, according to Bill Castonzo, vice president of development for Go Go Lucky Entertainment, the company producing the special. “We had crew members refuse to go into the basement,” Castonzo said. “That house was really scary.”
