Wonderful Granada

El Albayzín is a district of Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain, that retains the narrow winding streets of its Medieval Moorish past. It was declared a world heritage site in along with the famous Alhambra.

Albaicin, Spain.............Calle San Jose and Calle Caldereria Nueva streets. This colorful street with an Arabic influenced atmosphere is lined with shops selling jewelry, decorative and is an ideal place to get some interesting souvenirs.

tea and souvenir shops at Calle Caldereria Nueva, Granada, Spain.I miss this place so much!

The city is creative at every turn, integrating pomegranates (Granada in Spanish) into street signs, light posts, and public fountains. The sounds of Flamenco radiate from El Sacromonte off the walls of the beautiful Alhambra.
