Dedo de Dios Agaete GRAN CANARIA So so der Dedo de Dios, der Finger Gottes, vor dem großen Tropensturm Delta aus. Heute ist die Spitze abgebrochen. Eine Schautafel im Hafen von Puerto de las Nieves erinnert daran, wie er vorher aussah.

Salinas del Janubio, Lanzarote, Canary Archipelago - This is the biggest salt refinery in the region and has been made a nature conservancy. Originally these saltworks were a natural lagoon that over the years were isolated from the sea by volcanic materials disgorged by the eruptions of the volcanoes of the Timanfaya Park.
